Thank you Bailie for adding me as a friend. I am the founder of www.LeapforPatientSafety.org. I started my organization after a 30-year-old woman was misdiagnosed with breast cancer and died of complications after removal of both breasts. She didn't even have cancer. The hospital mixed up her lab with some one elses. Please visit our website to learn more about us. We do not accept any donations. I am hoping that for our next patient safety walk, we can hook up with Fran and have people sign up for the walk and donate $5.00 to the CancerSchmancer.com movment.

I love Fran and her personality too, and have met her in person, after her cancer, but she is NOT teaming with safe, healthy product companies.(ie Paul Mitchell) who manufacturer known carcinogens in their products. I applaud writers who educate the public on what really matters to the supporters of pink ribbons,
Susan B. Komen,American Cancer Soc will not tell consumers about the dangers of chemicals in daily used products because they are supported by this very industry. Avon, Mary Kay, Revlon and their walks for cures money is only going into the pockets of the manufacturers not into the publics health. NO new laws since 1938, profit over heatlh. They are not part of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, and if you go on Environmental working Group, you will find most of these "supporters" products have red flags on the ingredients. Think Before you Pink are words every person who thinks they are donating to "real research and prevention" should know. Why won't these orgs give the public the right to know this factual information? publicsright2know.org
